Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with Wasteland 2 and I think it’s awesome that they have been able to get as much money as they have.
I cancelled my pledge because I’m not a fan of RPGs, especially turn based RPGs, I can’t stand them. I pledged $15 back in March before it had hit the $900 000 goal. It seemed like the right thing to do after all of the excitement with Double Fine.
Clearly there is no longer a concern that they will hit their target (currently just shy of 2.5 million with 3 days to go). So, I figured I could cancel my pledge and not feel bad about it.
I wasn’t really sure that I could and I’m glad that they have the option. With the most important Kickstarter ever launching May 15th, I really need to save my money until then.
